Windmill in Paradise

This photograph of an old windmill in Paradise, Kansas was taken the night before a wild brush fire sparked by high winds, drought conditions, and downed electric lines began to erupt. You can almost smell the smoke in this beautiful scene. The windmill stands proudly against the backdrop of an awsome sunset, providing a unique contrast of tranquility and chaos. The windmill is a reminder of the  the resilience of the people of Paradise.
